Understanding Compassion

The Power of Being Human

To understand compassion we must look to many voices because compassion is not about an individual. It is a relationship. At the heart of what causes the expression of compassion is the experience of our unity.

It is through our unity that the voices of many speak a powerful and deeply beautiful song. Compassion, if you really want to understand it, is to hear the many voices because each one of us has a unique perspective on love and when all those perspectives are joined together you will see the scope and depth of what is our sacred place in our one humanity.
