To connect you with what is sacred to you.
As a mystic, I will show you how to recognize your own personal connection. It is a living experience.
There is a language of heart that allows that connection and very few people hear it or are able to understand it, only because it is not commonly known how this connection works.
- To Hear the words as a mystic hears them
- To be able to listen past the noise of today’s world
- To identify your growth & progress at home
hear the words
The language that is used by the divine and the sacred is rooted in emotional awareness. Learn how to hear it, be aware of it and ultimately to hear your personal message that is being communicated to you. This is seeking an inner connection and with that, your questions you have such as your next steps, healing, direction, and clarity – all these kinds of questions can be answered for you if you know how to listen.
hear past the noise!
You will also learn to discern and have clarity as to where the talk or messages are coming from. Ancients have told us we need to have peace or still water to be able to hear the deeper places. That is true but we are in a commercial society and noise is a part of our lives.
identify your progress
There are signposts that show up that you need to recognize and then to follow to maintain your engagement with your sacred people after the retreat. We have to cut through the stories we tell ourselves when we are uncomfortable. We will talk about this and more. It’s about showing up for your people.
Below is a post talking about an earlier experience & messages.
When you have made the connection you will have learnt how to be heart centered. Once there – it is so true and deep – there is no question within your heart – you know – this is common to experience this knowing within heart centers. It occurs in a moment and yet so much information is given that you cannot possibly write it all out and understand it. You experience love and connection that takes you beyond doubt, you are given a vision of the worlds beyond.
I will help you put this on paper! It will most likely be 1 – 3 pages long. You want connection but so do those who love you, your sacred people. They have so much to share with you.
The Healing Connections Wellness Center has a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and fridge. You will need to bring your own food and snacks. There are restaurants nearby as well. Bring a pen and paper or journal.
Drawing from long known practices and ancient philosophies from many cultures, we strive to support, educate and empower our clientele. Our services are designed to awaken your own innate healing abilities and to guide and strengthen those abilities for your well-being.
Even a little trust is enough if that is all you have. You have to start somewhere and there is no other place than where you are now. If you can experience trust all the doors of heaven are open to you. As you can tell, my path has been about trust!
I was born in Ontario. I am a foodie and outdoor enthusiast. The past 4 years have been spent traveling. My background originally was in computer sales and since moved onto home renovation. I absolutely love growing vegetables and spent 1 1/2 years building and running a greenhouse.
I am still traveling and embracing the change of my spiritual journey.
Practical Compassion is not a great thing to be measured. In fact it is small and as plentiful as the air we breathe. It is humble because it is the ground we all walk on. Love. None of us can survive without it. Whether we only know it from the sun on our face because our lives have been hard, or if we know it from having had a wonderful teacher, a kind mother or father, it is love that supports us.
Practical compassion is innocent and simple. It is a practice, a way of life. It is knowing who you are and sharing your heart with whoever needs to know you.
Hi. I am Elana. I have been teaching for 20 years and holding retreats during that time.

But those things that are sacred in nature no matter what you want to call them all use the same language of dream and heart. This is what I want to teach you.
In a 2013 interview about Christian mysticism, professor and Roman Catholic theologian Bernard McGinn said that “a mystical person would be someone who’s committed to the search for a deeper contact with God.” A mystic, by his definition, who has “achieved that in a very supreme way.”
In an adapted excerpt from Rohr’s A Spring Within Us, he (Rohr) says that mystic “simply means one who has moved from mere belief systems or belonging systems to actual inner experience. All spiritual traditions at their mature levels agree that such a movement is possible, desirable, and even available to everyone.”
Another sign you may be a natural mystic? An extreme affinity for nature.
